Day 8 of April is for Alchemy takes us to the last wrung on the Ladder of planets. The Sun.
The Ladder of planets:
The ancient alchemists laid out the five planets visible with the naked eye, along with the Moon and Sun as a series of inner transformations based on the spiritual attributes of each of the celestial bodies.
The wisdom gleaned by the alchemist from each experience was to enhance the evolution of the individual towards their best self or perfection. As symbolized by the sun.
Exploring is the key vibe of the Sun.
Light is an eager element, each morning it greets us with a cheery glint as it crawls across any and all surfaces.
As a Sustainable Seven, the Sun represents the ultimate outward expression of Self. A full cycle of growth. From lump to light.
Today you might try;
● creating art inspired by the Sun's image and symbols directly. Cultures have been capturing the Sun's likness for generations. Explore the history of its symbols
● Journal as many of the cycles you can remember completing. There's no right answer. And all cycles qualify. Art projects, relationships, goals…they all count. Record them from as early in your life as you can remember. Build the memory bank.

I absolutely loved touching briefly on these Archetypes of the artists oracle. I will definitely be deep diving into these and offering art tutorials inspired by them soon!

These cards represent the Work at hand. Your art in progress. You can definitely find insight into how the element or principle factors into a metaphor for life experience, but ultimately these cards are the practical cards.
Art contains generally speaking, at least 2 or 3 of these, Combined together. I highlight combine because it's the link to alchemy. Alchemy was the precursor of modern chemistry among its other offshoots. The blending and separation of elements to create a new one. Just like art.
