You made it, paint with it 🎨

Those little boxes of colours all in a row. They reveal rhythms and patterns between hues and values. They are also tedious and boring, to me.

I love seeing my handmulled paint in action. The inner reward for the delay in gratification, is satisfying. I poured myself into the very marriage of pigment powder and liquid binders, my love and intentions.

I placed small crystals in the seashells that I had filled, to help anchor and enhance my simple aims.

Swatch charts can be art that you make. Abstract shapes and lines all communicating as they intersect, overlap and obscure.

We will be creating our power Palettes in January. You absolutely can use paint you have on hand or deep dive and buy pigment powders and liquid binder and create your own paint to use.

I believe our personal Palettes evolve and shift as we do in life. So even if the colours you have on hand aren't your favorite, it's ok, do the work, get a feel for the process. Then when you are able, re work the course using them.
