April is for Alchemy and so is the everyday ✨️
The Alchemy of the Everyday Moon in Libra/Virgo
Wonder survives knowledge. In a world of black holes and blue marbles, we still reach for paint.
Knowing the moon isn’t made of green cheese doesn’t make it any less enchanting to paint.
If anything, understanding has only deepened the spell. We no longer mistake the moon for myth, yet we continue to return to it as symbol, mirror, and quiet companion. It hangs above us, unchanged in its presence, even as our understanding of it has evolved beyond imagination.
🌕 The Flower Moon arrives as May opens its hands.
On May 15th, it becomes the focus of our next class within the paid subscription tier. A moment to gather around this ancient subject and approach it again, not as something distant, but as something relational. Something that reflects us as much as we reflect it.
Tonight, the moon drifts between Libra and Virgo.
Between harmony and discernment.
Between beauty and precision.
A balancing act written in light.
We are living in a time that would have read as pure alchemy to those who came before us. We have captured the image of a black hole, a place where even light folds inward. We have seen our planet suspended in darkness, a fragile sphere held in a vast and indifferent expanse. We have sent a woman around the moon, extending not just our reach, but our story.
And here on Earth, a child can list the names of dinosaurs with ease, while still fumbling through the sequence of the alphabet. Knowledge arrives in strange constellations now, scattered and brilliant.
At the same time, humanity continues to wrestle with itself. Movements rise across the globe, voices gathering in resistance to harm, to injustice, to the systems that reduce human life to something expendable. There is a collective awareness forming, imperfect and unfinished, but undeniably present.
We are capable of immense ingenuity.
We are also capable of immense harm.
Both truths exist, side by side, like phases of the same moon.
And still, in the midst of it all, we return to simple acts.
We mix pigment with water.
We press brush to surface.
We look up.
Not because we don’t understand, but because understanding alone is not enough.
There is a kind of knowing that lives beyond fact. A knowing that asks to be felt, practiced, repeated. The kind that turns observation into relationship, and information into meaning.
This is where alchemy lives now.
Not in hidden laboratories or coded manuscripts,
but in the ordinary rituals we choose to honor.
In the act of noticing.
In the act of making.
In the decision to remain open to wonder, even when the world feels fully explained.
The moon is no less mysterious for being mapped.
The Earth is no less precious for being photographed.
And we are no less capable of transformation simply because we can name the process.
If anything, the invitation has become clearer.
To participate.
To create.
To tend to the fragile and the luminous, both within and around us.
This is the alchemy of the everyday. ✨ Thank you for joining me in 2026 April is for Alchemy.
See you next year!
