The standard definition is:
Rhythm in art refers to the organized and repeated use of visual elements to create a sense of movement and harmony. It can be achieved through various techniques like alternating patterns, progressive sequences, or continuous movement, guiding the viewer's eye and enhancing the artwork's overall flow.
Rythyms and cycles mattered a great deal the the perennial philosophers of yore. The times of year their materials would be available for Harvesting, food and homes would need to be cared for while the Great Work was underway.
Repetition was a key principle process of transforming base metals into gold or alloys. Routine, Repetition aren't for the young, they easily tire or grow board. But as I have aged I find peace and quiet and calm in some of the more mundane rituals of the Everyday.
In the Spagyric arts, we're the principles of Alchemy were used to create Tictures and Oils for healing, repetition was very important. The Distillation of the material helped to purify and concentrate the matter at hand.
Today why not try:
